Math 7 - Topics that will be covered this year
Chapter 1 - Data Toolbox (Students learn how to organize data, display data, and interpret trends and relationships in graphs.)
Chapter 2 - Number Threory & Algebraic Reasoning (Students learn about exponents, factors, multiples, and beginning algebra.)
Chapter 3 - Integers and Rational Numbers (Students learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide positive and negative numbers.)
Chapter 4 - Operations with Rational Numbers (Students learn about decimal and fraction operations.)
Chapter 5 - Proportional Reasoning (Students learn about, ratios, rates, proportions, similar figures and scale models.)
Chapter 6 - Percents (Students learn about percents and how they apply to real-world situations.)
Chapter 7 - Plane figures (Students learn about the basics of geometry.)
Chapter 8 - Perimeter, Circumference and Area (Students learn how to find perimeter, circumference and area of basic geometric shapes.)

Chapter 2 - Integer Operations (Students will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide positive and negative numbers, and be introduced to the distributive property and coordinate plane.)
Chapter 3 - Solving Equations and Inequalities (Students will learn how to solve simple and equations and inequalites.)
Chapter 4 - Factors, Fractions and Exponents (Students will learn about factoring numbers, LCM, GCF, rules of exponents and scientific notation.)
Chapter 5 - Rational Number Operations (Students will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals.)
Chapter 6 - Multi-Step Equations and Inequalities (Students will learn how to solve multi-step equations and inequalites.)
Chapter 7 - Ratio, Proportion and Percent (Students learn about ratios and rates, how to write and solve propotions and how to apply percents to real-life situations.)
